“Its not just a loss of  humanitarian but we lost a visionary…”- Said the American President Obama in his funeral note of Steve Jobs, The Former CEO of Apple Inc. Who knows such a tycoon will hit US and have its worse effect all around the world and especially all the Technology lovers. A big downfall to Apple and its lovers. Most of the youngsters would refer the word more often than with newton but to Steve Jobs. This post is to bring on to lime light the simple way he grew and the simple life he lead to make his generation proud about the tracks he left behind.

Birth Story (1955)

Steve Jobs born on February 24, 1955, in the city of San Fransisco. His Biological mother who is a unwed Graduate student named Joanne Simpson and his biological Father who is a Mathematical Professor Abdulfattah John Jandali. Most interesting stuff is that Jobs have never spoke to his father (Biological). His Mother put up Steve for adoption and she was very keen on doing it to the right hands of educated parents. Early Life

Steve Jobs is an below average student who don’t like to read even. The status was till his fourth grade and things changed and started shaping up when he got a bribe from her teacher. The deal is to give him candies and 5$ bill to make him read and there comes the hook up on the studies. Steve then moved to middle school and later he got a huge passion for electronics as that’s the time when USSR’s have launched Sputnik and the entire urge in US was about technology and science. Steve had a great time in chatting and learning machinery with his friends at garages. One day Steve’s father introduced him to Heath kits and there came the change.

Passion for Entrepreneurship (1969)

When Steve was in Homestead High school he enrolled himself in electronics class where he met Mr. McCollum’s and via him he also met Bill Hewlet, HP’s founder and asked for some spare parts to test also went to HP factory for summer classes which highly showcased his entrepreneurial skills. Steve got a new friend in his school who shared him his passion for electronics and he took steve to his neighbor Stepen Wozniak who’s building a computer by his own. When Steve met Woz they were on the age group of 14 and 19. But Steve managed to bring in the things what are all Woz can do it on his age whether it is about technology or about passion about learning.

The first Entrepreneurial Venture (1972)

In the year 1972, Steve and Woz together kick started the work. They tried to opt out Blue Boxes (Blue boxes were used by early computer hackers to fool AT&T, a telecom company to make free calls). They succeed in developing a Blue box and Steve came forward with the idea of selling them illegally. They chose Berekely’s Dorm students as target and started selling their product and later stopped it getting an alert for crime. As the incident happened during high school of Steve then he went to Reed College. Later he dropped out of college due to some reasons. Mean while Steve was hardly in need of some money to maintain his livelihood so went in search of Job and in the year 1974 Steve got a job atAtari (Atari is the first Video game company).

Steve Jobs had blindly followed a single aspect which he read during his school days. It is that having fruits and maintaining periodical fasting would lead a person to healthy life style. While working in Atari Steve will spend some time in All-One farm where they majorly cultivate Apples and its common Steve Jobs had those as his food most of the time.

Passion Flows (1975)

While Steve was in Oregon with his night shifts of work going on he came to know that his geek friend Woz was hired by Hewlett-Packard. It was a dream for Steve Jobs to work in HP with a number of engineers designing, manufacturing and testing various electronics. Steve didn’t let his passion go down and he started working on some computer circuits and kept his thirst balanced. With all these stuffs Steve had managed to enroll himself in a computer hobbyists association called Homebrew Computer Club. In the Picture Homebrew Computer Club.

The Dawn of Apple (1976)

 How long will a brain which owe the capacity to run a company will work for some other company. It came all together for Steve and Woz so they decided to start a own company. Its a big thing for them to initiate the process as they were looking for capital of $1000. Steve came forward to sell his Volsvagon van and Woz for his turn sold his HP 65 Calculator and then came the confusion like how to call their company. Woz recalled the thing said by Steve for fun as they would call it Apple if they don’t find anything better and they didn’t- so Apple Computer was born. In the Picture Steve Jobs and to the left Steve Wozniak.

Woz remember the day when they both had a hard discussion inside car for starting a new company. Steve said,”Well, even if we lose money, we’ll have a company. For once in our lives, we’ll have a company“  this convinced me to go for a brave decision.

Innovation Begins (1984)

There came a start for the big thing from a single person the evolution of personal computer with GUI is the innovation of Steve Jobs and he succeeded on it by launching world’s first small computer Macintosh. Its universally acclaimed to be the most commercially successful model in the year 1984.

Steve Jobs Fired from Apple (1985)

It is the most saddest part in the history of Apple when Steve Jobs is been fired out of the corporation by John Sculley(Who was brought in by Steve Jobs from Pepsi-Cola as the CEO of Apple in 1983) Jobs lured Sculley by asking him,

“Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?”

Innovation that never stops (1985)

Do you have any reason for stop thinking?? Probably Steve doesn’t have any. One may think that this is the end of Steve once he was fired from Apple but the creator had his own calculation and his thirst for striving made him to start a new Company “NeXT Computers” in 1985. But by ill-luck it failed to grasp public attention due to its cost-prohibitive.

Jobs Starts PiXaR (1986)

As NeXT Computer didn’t made some business as Steve Jobs expected he switched his plans to a animation and graphics development company which is well know as Pixar. Initially this is also an average end tool for business in front of Steve Jobs passion but it getting on to the high-speed board once Disney Pictures signed to produce Animation Pictures along with it. Steve Jobs got a very big reputation for developing Pixar to some bigger height (later 2006 Disney purchased Pixar from Steve for a whooping amount).

Steve Jobs Rejoins Apple (1996)

Losing the innovation being soul for the business what else will be the replacement?

When this question is been raised at Apple without Steve Jobs they came to a decision of bringing back the innovation there by buying NeXT and yet again Steve Jobs as the interim Chief Executive of Apple. Steve Jobs terminated a number of projects in process which he thought were of useless and hurdling company’s business.

Steve Jobs goes on Medical Leave (2004)

Mean while Steve Jobs was suffering a lot due to Pancreas cancer in earlier 2003 he got in through lot of radiotheraphy treatments due to which he lost most of his energy. So Jobs thought about making a short medical leave and he stated that Tim Cook(Who is the Current CEO of Apple Inc, right now) will be his replacement.

Steve Jobs Speech at Stanford University (2005)

After recovering slightly from his cancer Steve thought of losing his agility somewhere but not his passion of thinking. He addressed Stanford’s graduate’s and later in his speech he said like,

“Our time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. “

Here comes the iPhone and iPad (2007 & 2010)

Getting some poor response for the mobiles from the Apple and some critics raised by ESPN about bad quality in the products Steve Jobs revealed his magnum opus iDevice named as iPhone in the year 2007. This device have changed the entire marketing for mobiles in the market and making the competitors like Nokia, Blackberry to re innovate themselves.

In the later period iPhone has many other transformation in the series and yet again Steve Jobs came with another innovation for smart computing by means of iPad- the last revolutionary product from Steve Jobs. People started wondering the product which can’t be categorized either as a computer or as a smart phone.

The history never repeats for itself but the world will miss a true innovator in our time hardly without any doubt. Starting from youngsters to all other technology enthusiasts, iDevice lovers this is the biggest moment that cant be moved out easily. Simpper Video Mail: Easily Record And Send Video Messages With A Click

A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video is worth a thousand pictures. Now you can easily send video messages and pictures to your friends and family with Simpper Video Mail. It begins recording with a single click, and allows direct sharing it with your Gmail and Facebook friends. If you don’t want to send the email to anyone, the application allows saving to your PC only, as well. There is also an option for video chat through a Facebook web app for video chat with your Facebook friends.

Simpper Video Mail is a very basic video message tool. The interface consists of your video feed at the top with controls at the bottom featuring video sharing for different services, Record, Stop and Play. To begin recording your video message, click the red Record button at the bottom.

Notice that if your webcam doesn’t have an internal microphone, you will have to use an external microphone to record your voice. Click Stop when you want your message to end. The application will save and compress the video file.

When done saving, you can share the video to Facebook, Gmail, Outlook contacts and other email recipients. Gmail and Facebook sharing requires you to login with your accounts for these respective services within the application.

Clicking Simper Video Chat will take you to the Simpper’s Facebook web application. Note that you can only video chat with those friends who already use Simpper Video Chat from their Facebook account.

Simpper Video Mail also allows you to take and share pictures with your webcam in the same way as sharing videos. During testing, we encountered an error with Send To Outlook Contact button, and we hope the developer will fix it in the next release. It is an Adobe AIR based application and it works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Shutdown a Computer Remotely From a Mobile Phone

We decided to add more interesting tutorials on Windows 7 from now. Here we have a tutorial to “Shutdown a computer remotely from a mobile phone using Email and Microsoft Office Outlook“. I hope you will find this read an interesting one.

Microsoft office outlook provides a set of classical features for the users worldwide to stay in touch with your business networks. In this tutorial we are in need of

- Microsoft Outlook

- A Mobile that can access and send emails

Step 1 Create a Shutdown bat file

1. Open Notepad and type in c:\windows\system32\shutdown –s –f –t 30.

• Explanation of the code: the word shutdown –s refers that we are going to shutdown the system.

• –f refers to force, which means the system would shutdown even if it runs any application.

• -t refers to time, so that shutdown would commence after 30 seconds.

2. Save it as Shutdown.bat. While saving choose the save as type as All files.

Step 2 Configure Outlook-

1. Go to start >> All programs >> Microsoft office >> select Microsoft Office Outlook

2. If you are entering Outlook for the first time then you have to configure your email. After configuring your email continue the below steps,

3. Go to Tool >> Send/Receive >> Send/Receive settings >> and choose Define Send/Receive Groups

4. Set the time as 1 minute. This makes the outlook to check your email for every one minute and update the contents.

5. Now go to Tools >> Select Rules and Alerts

6. From the Rules and Alerts window, Choose the >> New Rule option. You can see Rules Wizard window. Select >> Check messages when they arrive and then click next.

7. In the next step, select the square box >> with specific words in the object.

Now choose Specific word in the Step 2 box of the window. You can see a Search Text window in which you type the word Shutdown >> then click add and then ok button.

You can see the Shutdown word replaced in the specific words place in the Step 2 box of Rules Wizard Window. Now click >> Next.

After choosing the application option, you can see a new window with title Select an Application to Execute. Browse the Shutdown.bat which you have saved and then click it asopen.

After selecting the file you can see application word replaced by Shutdown.bat file in the step 2box of Rules wizard. Now click Finish button.

9. You can see a new rule added in the Rules and Wizards window. Click apply and then ok. That’s it friends here is the final step.

10. Take your mobile and send mail to the account you have configured in the Microsoft Outlook. Within one minute your system will shutdown. You can shutdown your system from anywhere in this world by using your mobile phone.

11. Apart from shutdown, you can utilize same procedure in the Microsoft office outlook to start an application, play a sound, copy a file to specific folder and much more by using yourmobile phone from any location.

Internet fuels Anna Hazare's campaign, helps create waves across the globe

                                       August 21, 2011 was a phenomenal day. A massive crowd turned up at Delhi’s historic India Gate to stage a rally in support of veteran activist Anna Hazare’s hunger strike for the Jan Lokpal Bill. The ongoing fight against corruption has certainly brought masses from different classes and strata of the Indian society together. Over the last seven days, similar protest rallies have been held across the world. The Internet has played a crucial role in bringing a unison in people's psyche. The medium provided a larger platform to discuss the ongoing logjam and share a range of sentiments. The Internet has been arguably the most harnessed mediium among all kinds and has seen the largest audience participation. It helped propagate the word outside India and drew much-needed global attention. People across the globe joined the movement through the Internet and vented their emotions.

                                       Social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter have also done their bit. Facebook, already a massive hit in the country, has let people express their sentiments the way they want. A number of Facebook Pages have been created dedicated to Anna Hazare's movement. India Against Corruption (IAC), an NGO supporting the anti-graft campaign, owns a Facebook page and has more than 454,000 likes. And many other groups and communities have been created in the name of fight against corruption. People are tagging their friends in images and texts related to the cause. The democratic set-up has let everybody keep their views, whether one agrees or contradicts. Facebook tools such as “poll” are also being extensively used for garnering more public opinion.                        Apart from all that, people are tweeting their experiences of the protests they have participated in. They are also sharing images of the protests and making their views count.

                 The blogging world is also abuzz with Anna Hazare and his campaign. A range of opinions are expressed while many heated discussions are taking place. Just do a random check on Internet,a number of blogs will appear discussing the same issue. This is apart from several websites have been created dedicated to the cause.                           Thanks to the technology at hand, there's no dearth of awareness on the issue. The virtual world is gradually finding its social relevance and people notwithstanding their geographical location are able to view/review/analyse events across the world. The ongoing Anna Hazare campaign is the finest example of where people across the world have harnessed the Internet to express their views and communicate. Whether it has been in the US or Europe, the word has spread across the globe and that too quickly, and effectively.

                              The massive turnout in the virtual world certainly indicates at the growing power of this media and its impact on the masses, especially the youth. The Internet is set to make the globe more coherent with its ever-increasing reach out to the nook and corners of the world.

A Perfect Stunt

Prologue:

                Once I had been to my friend’s college.That was  about a three days technical event I have been to.On the way to see an event called nitro he told me a crime story which was awesome as that I’m blogging it now.The crime scene was his own.Actually I was surprised of that.None can beat this.During exam’s I actually thought of keeping bit papers if I am in the afraid of failing the exam.That is usual and the matter of fact is, I have been caught most of the times.Shit,were the teacher’s so brilliant or I am not capable for such a bitty thing.Fine, even now,I don’t leave my hope,I’m still trying and one day I’ll be the master of mal practice.Nothing is impossible,isn’t it.I used to keep bit papers in order to get through the slavish exam,but here is the story of my friend who has been the brilliant of kind.

                   He’s studying in a college to which lakhs of people fight every year to register their names on the database for the next four years and I am one among the lakhs who have fought,then failed due to lack of knowledge or some nerdy thing.However he isn’t any twit or a slow learner who have to do any mal practice in order to pass the exam,he is a kinda person who will be flying to foreign countries to work for a corporate,earning for the entire lifetime in a single decade,for this it will take at least a three decade for a guy like me studying in a college where teasing others,bunking the class,drinking and smoking are considered as the criteria for being a graduate.However working in a foreign company remains a dream through out the lifetime.

                   But what is the cause for the guy who is studying in an international college to try the sort of things since his brain was already loaded with more than he wants and if he load it even more he would be the person to use the brain more than Newton or Einstein did.

                  I was merely in surprise of the reason he say.

                  “Dude,I am did it just for a KICK in ma life da,how can i be completing my degree course without doing these kinda things.”

             These answers are like hearing something that won’t happen or that is wonder and have happened only in epics.Because hearing this word from my friend who is the best nerd among all those robots who used to eat their book sometimes so as to beat others,whatsoever this is something that is actually hard to hear from such a guy.

                    Writing the exam in an ordinary way is what all does and that doesn’t bring any excitement.Later, I thought of it.True actually,i had experienced too much such excitements.

1.PLANNING:

                Pravin and malhan are friends since childhood and they did schooling at same campus.They were so close that made them to choose each other as roommates .Pravin’s father is from an agricultural family from a village that hadn’t developed at all.He studied so hard to make into IIT and now he is working for government with a ransom salary that is huge enough to run a family in a metropolitan city.Pravin was grown up in metro city since his birth.So is malhan’s father and malhan.
                       

               For higher studies,they both were qualified for the same college and went up there. It’s a routine that these nerds(not really) used to study all the time and they do not waste their precious time by chatting with friends or watching movies,night clubs,pub,parties or any other ordinary human activities.

               But these two differed in an act from all other nerds.They just planned to keep book at the toilet and may come for book after the exam starts,since no invigilator is going to say no to a guy who is asking permission to pee.So utilising the break they may refer to the book.Really these are an common thoughts of a guy who never touches the book,but they both aren’t that sort of guys.

                On the exam day,both immersed themselves in the book,forgetting about their plan on that shit toilet.

I was shocked with surprise,then what is there to mention it as a perfect stunt.Then he described me the whole thing.So nice, marvelous,hilarious too…

  Pravin and Malhan finally headed to the exam hall and in hurry they forget to keep the book in toilet.

2.TOILET:

After an hour the exam started,pravin started to think about his plan.He was so weird and in dilemma that should he head towards the toilet or not?,but what is the use of heading towards the toilet where there is no book,no intimation is given to malhan about the plan.However with umpteen thoughts flashing,pravin went to toilet and according to a normal human,this was totally a crap deed.But no other go,he went to toilet and locked the door .To his fortune there he noticed something that was not expected,a displacement in the toilet slimline.May be the goddess saraswathi is scheduled to shower her blessings for pravin in that toilet.He found a book there.Over joyed,he started surfing the books to find the answers.

                After a moment he heard a sound from the next toilet,though saraswathi is showering blessing out there in his toilet it seems that lord Shiva is showering lava from world’s worst volcano that awaited much to explode, with anguish he asked “Who’s in there” in a shivering voice,and once again the flashing thoughts.He would be sorry if caught in a toilet with book in his hand.

      The homo sapien replied”Da,it’s me”.At a while,pravin’s heart was overwhelmed with umpteen joy.Because the homo sapien was found to be malhan

“Screw you malhan,you fucking dick,got so worried and i am almost dead man”.

“You are the best shit,I have ever seen”,replied Malhan.

3.THE MOMENT OF JOY:

           “Shall we fucking start looking for the answers, the time is restricted dude.We have to hurry”.

May be the joyous or the anguished meeting made them to use the F-word often.Because I have never seen both of them speaking even a single F-word.

No other go,they both should be now confine themselves to single toilet to avoid embarrassment.

             The situation would go more worse if they both get caught and what would peoples think if they see two guys coming from a single toilet room.

Hiding the fear they both started searching the book.What is the bloody hell time,it often goes more faster than mono trains when we expect it to go slow,but when we were sitting in the worst demon professors class this shit goes much slower than a nail so that i used to inspect my watch every moment Ten minutes later both of them headed their way to respective halls.

4.SMART MOVE:

                Once pravin entered the hall,he started writing.The invigilator of the hall moved to pravin’s desk.She said,”I know,You have done mal practice”.Pravin replied,

                “Unless you have proof,you can’t suspect me.”

                “Hmm….”

                “Ma’am,may I continue?”.

Epilogue:

                After he told me the story,I was shocked as well as surprised because he added that he did it for fun and requested me not to tell his father or anyone else.

I nodded.

I know that nod from me was entirely a lie.

I request you at least,not to tell this to anyone.
